Job Description

    • Deliver tailored learning activities as devised by the Teacher, either in a small group setting or on a one-to-one basis.
    • Ensure that any pupils they support can engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity.
    • Support the social and emotional development of students, raising any concerns to person in charge as per the school’s policy and protocols.
    • Manage students’ challenging behavior.
    • Guide and monitor a students’ progress.
    • Provide a range of administrative support in the classroom, such as preparing classroom resources.
    • Provide a support outside of class, such as exam supervision and covering absences of TA colleagues.
    • Participate in extra-curricular activities, including breakfast clubs, after school clubs, homework clubs, and revision sessions, etc…
    • Update CSO/CM the student’s situation in the class, especially for children attending First lessons or Trial classes.
    • Report to CM on Teacher’s activities in classes, the situation of students who is in need of special care. In difficult situations, report to the CM or Operation Executive for solution.
    • Remember students’ name and be aware of:     
      • Do students follow the Teacher’s instructions?
      • Do students have some points to improve?
      • Did teacher follow ICR method?
    • Support center to prepare activities organized by the center (happy birthday party, gift for students,...). Ask Teacher for information on students and report back to CSO.

    • Positive approach to work with children, ability to inspire and motivate them.
    • Understand how to build rapport, trust and positive relationships with students.
    • Ability to recognize and respect diversity in the classroom.
    • Have good team work ethic, contributing to the professional discussions in the classroom.
    • Work with a broad range of other people such as CM, CSO, SCO parents and Teachers.
